This program consists of two levels of training:
Level I: Introduction to Hotel Management and Fundamental Workplace Skills: This is a 45 hour training program which consists of two weeks of classroom theory and instruction, including guest speakers from the hotel industry. The third week consists of a 6 hour practicum in a local hotel and classroom time to prepare a final presentation.
Level II: This is a 60 hour program to develop and refine the skills needed in the hotel industry. Emphasis will be placed on finding and securing employment in the hotel industry. The program will consist of three weeks of classroom instruction, using the most updated content and methodology available. Guest speakers in hospitality will share their expertise with participants. Week four will consist of a week-long local internship where participants will be immersed in the workings of an active hotel.
This program is for anyone with an interest in learning about Canadian Culture and History.
The Third Act
This five-week course is an “inside out” transition entailing a complete transformation in how we view and experience ourselves in the world. Authored by world-renowned David Kelly and taught by a certified professional coach.
